Because of his massive price rise I'll be upgrading Rockliff and keep Tippett as my cover. Based on his current form it is hard to argue against holding him as a bench keeper, even 7th forward. Though I wonder if there is added risk for those that also plan to hold Pods as a keeper.

I've got Ziebell to upgrade, possibly this week. I was planning n Chapman until his 'injury', but now I'm not so keen. If they're resting him because of his hammy now, what does that mean for future rounds? Therefrore I'm looking at Didak/Frankiln as discussed but for some reason I can't help thinking their negatives outweigh their positives. I'm leaning toward Didak because, even though he suffers under a tag, he still scores more that Frankiln does when he's suspended.

In non-related new, Nine News tonight said Hille has re-injured his hamstring and is out for at least another 2-3 weeks.

I'd definitely be keeping Rocky as cover! Who cares if you're burning points on the bench? It's a massive luxury not having to use a trade to easily replace the points of one of your starters. If injury hits later on (and if there's one position it always seems to hit, it's forwards), you'll be using a trade or playing Watts/Hitchy. Forwards is the best spot to have huge coverage. I'm hoping Jaensch can be this sort of cover for my team. I'd also be keeping an eye on bringing someone like Davis/Fev onto my bench (sub $230K) for coverage - you know, just in case they suddenly don't suck.

Well this is the thing, is he a keeper in the sense of permanent bench cover or a 7th forward perhaps?
I currently have the coin to bring 2 premium forwards into my team, which would push Rocky to the bench but i really don't like the idea of a guy averaging close to 100 sitting on my pine, likely to outscore some of my starting forwards!
However, my issue is i also currently have Watts and Hitchcock so i was thinking that they'd be adequate bench cover if i were to upgrade Rockliff to a gun.
Albeit it does seem very sideways...

I'm just in an awkward spot having those 3 really. Not exactly sure how to attack my next trades..

Wilson, Rockliff is a definite keeper assuming he maintains his current form. In his last 4 he has averaged almost identically to Chappy, so an upgrade would have absolutely no advantage. Hold him and IF in a couple of games his numbers do take a dive, then you will be able to sideways trade him to any number of premiums.

Wouldn't worry too much about Pods. He's back at the Cattery this week against North. I expect he'll bounce back with another bag, especially if Johnson gets rubbed out. That's one less forward kicking his goals..

I'm still deciding whether Rockliff is a keeper more so than Pods at the moment. Seems a bit of a waste to have Rockliff as cover if he's going to keep pulling out tons. What are peoples thoughts on him?
Is it worth upgrading him even?

Ben Cunnington... What.. a.. DT LOG! Granted I havnt seen many of his games, but he seems hardly anywhere. Is there something im missing here, or is he simply struggling big time at senior level? With his TOG falling, is his job security becoming questionable?

I would hold off on pods. Pav and the Voldt will be cheap in 2 weeks. Gram will be 300k in a couple of weeks. So many cheap premiums to upgrade to.

Wondering what you guys think of pods at this point- do you hold onto him as a keeper or burn some cash to upgrade him to a more proven player...

At this point a lot of teams are set with 7 or 8 trades left and players like pods, shaw or carrazzo are peoples biggest worries...

For me (I have all those three), I could either upgrade pods or strengthen my bench to cover future gun injuries, but with reasonable trades up my sleeve I could probably trade out players if that happens at finals time...
