It is not confirmed though that Ibbo will play this role, except it seems to be how he has been training this pre-season. As for Barlow, i think he is a great pick-up and will certainly play some games this year and i expect him to play well - being a mature age player he should be fine at the level! It is just frustrating that he was named as a midfielder considering that he was named on a HFF in the VFL team of the year. Silvagni is the other mature age rookie on Freo's list to keep an eye on.
