Nice ep guys, very informative. It seems that each week the player I look at getting in becomes the Player of the Week. Not sure if that is a good thing or not :)
Toby, how did you go Jimmy Bartel captain? Last 2 against Port Adelaide were 73 and 75. He did well last week to get to 87.
Scully and Trengrove look like certain buys to me for next year but still early days.
Listed to return in 3 weeks time. Hopefully there are no more set backs and we see you back for Port in 3 weeks time. Tell Chokko that you don’t need a run the in SANFL, I’m a Dreamteam “GUN” and thousands of coaches are depending on me I need to get out there to repay their faith in me!
Chad, I went Jimmy because he tends to smash it at Skilled Stadium, as well as the fact i had seen a forecast for rain!! I stupidly didnt check his history against Port, but now i know not to do that again!
My other options were Ablett and Swan, and this week i feel i am leaning towards Swan, unless anyone can convince me otherwise!!
Haha Chad, it’s been a bit up and down with the POTW articles, but in fairness I called Hayes, ROK and Didak at the right time and they’ve been amongst the better buys this year from when they bottomed out. Not sure if those three make up for Buddy, Fisher and Hodge (Boomer was just bad luck, not a bad call!)
I’m not keen to go a captain in the Geel vs. St.K game, but it’s hard to take it off Lenny, who has been so good for me (the one week I went off him since I traded GAJ out I ate Goddard’s 46 WTF?!). Hayes with five consecutive tons against the Cats too. I think Geelong will be more likely to tag outside mids, so hopefully Hayes can go head to head with Selwood and they both rack it up.
Dan, Hayes will go head to head with Bartel or Selwood! I GUARANTEE it! Just as he has all year with every other team’s best inside mids! Lenny can be trusted on not to fade in big games! He will be extra hard on himself after he stuffed up in the Prelim against Hawthorn last year! I would put him captain, but i dont wanna get in trouble if im wrong! ;-)
