I apologise for not getting back to you before lock out. I did check to see if you had submitted your team at 12:30pm yesterday, but I missed your team by around 30 minutes it seems.

I didn’t have internet access yesterday afternoon so by the time I saw your team it was too late.

It may actually be a blessing in disguise because most of your players have 1 week injuries, so it would be a waste to trade them out and still lose in your private league.

i dont think there’s much that can be done to save that team, i blew too many trades early in the season making rookie mistakes.

We’d love to help you out with your final 2 trades, but I need more information from you first.

Can you please list your entire squad of 30, along with their positions.

Either Dan, Toby or myself will then give you some advice before lock out (as long as you send the details through by 2pm Friday).

I don’t want to give you advice based on knowing only about 25% of your team.

What about Mitch Clark in for Dean Cox?

Clark has averaged 108 points per game over the past 5 weeks.

What’s more, Clark is the only fit ruckman Brisbane have on their list at the moment, so the Lions have no choice but to give him plenty of minutes in the ruck.

I’d also like your thoughts on my ruck situation. I still have Dean Cox, but I have H-Mac and Jake Spencer filling the two ruck spots at the moment.

I have trades, and am considering Cox -> Kreuzer to free up cash. Or should I use the trade elsewhere, as a midfield upgrade would give me more extra points each week than a ruck upgrade?

Perhaps a Q&A on your weekly video show would be a good idea. Just a though.

So what about Paul Chapman, he’s likely out for two, possibly more. This being the first week of finals and most of us going for league glory. Should you (most of us) consider going the trade? He’s a heap of DT dollars sitting on the bench for the first two weeks of finals. Could concievably swap him for someone cheaper and use the chunk of change to bring in another premium. I’m thinking about it.

I know it seems like a big move to use my last two trades but I think everyones going to be eating doughnuts this week, going hard and making the big moves this week might be the difference.
