I reckon Heath Shaw is a pretty safe bet. He was basically playing every game on the wing by the time he got suspended last year. I think he will continue to score well.
The back line generally does have a few tempting midpricers eh. Really gonna have to watch the NAB closely as usual.

My understanding is that Suban is training as one of the two designated kick in players at Fremantle, and just wondered how people think this will affect his DT and SC scoring?

Fully agree guy’s in regards to a lack of quality in the back half. At present my 3, 4 and 5 DEF are Duffman, Hanley and Clarke, not sold on Clarkey either. I have even considered Selwood as maybe a bit of a smokie. Actually have him in my S/C team.

I just can’t bring myself to treat Heppell as a premium and I’m not sold on Shaw or Broughton. Dilemma.

Another great write up Jim!

I am currently running with a similar back line plan to you Mezz – I currently have Lake and Conca in B4/5 but this has made the decision even harder. I figure that these guys can average around 80ppg which would beat say Broughton/Heppell and a rookie imo.

Will be watching this guy very closely at nab time and he could quite easily replace the current two…

He’s definitely a juicy option, right alongside T Armstrong, N Grima, B Lake and R Conca in that sub $300k price range.

I am seriously considering slotting in two of Suban/Armstrong/Conca into DEF 4 and DEF 5 positions due to the lack of quality defenders who do not share the Rnd 13 bye (ATM I have Heppell as DEF 3!!!!).

[Actually, I am also flirting with the idea of starting all three of these guys and only playing two DEF premiums but I don't think I have the cohones for that!]
