Suban played a lockdown role on Nahas on the weekend.
Duffman played loose in defense at times, looking like the Duffman of old.
Broughton played in the midfield and looked good.
Given Barlow and Mundy are both under injury clouds, GB is looking more and more like a lock, although he ain’t cheap.

a) a cheap goalsneak who doesn’t have the motor to run through the middle; and

That is a great write-up!

I had Duffield last year and it didn’t go well. Can I be tempted to go back to him the very next year…? His previous years are high enough – if he’ll be put in that role I’ll probably take him (however nervously :p).

I for one will be taking the risk with DUFFMAN this season, i will be happy if he can average at least 85. Fingers are crossed for SPURR.

I think that Silvagni will get a gig ahead of Grover this year. Also confirming that Lee Spurr requires an LTI before he can be upgraded from the rookie list.

Lots of Midfield options , With Mundy , Barlow ,Hill , Broughton ,Mzung , with Lower ,Crowley Possible Tags. Not sure how they will fit them all in and how it will impact on Scoring as yet. Nab Watch..

Thanks for another awesome write up Toby. I am pretty pumped to see Lyons influence this season and if we don’t have a bad run with injuries again then I would think top 4 isn’t out of the question…

DT wise I have Barlow and 211 as locks and am currently choosing between Stevie J and Pav for one spot and Fyfe and Mitch Robbo for another in my forward line. At the moment I have Pav and Robbo and will watch the Knife’s Nab form.

If Spurr gets promoted he’s in for sure and I’ll be watching Broughton and Duffman very closely.
