A huge emphasis was placed on the playing group putting on weight and gaining strength this off season. With the younger midfielders like Melksham, Zaka, Heppell and arguably Myers(if the backline holds up) providing more grunt work I could see Lonergan being pushed out, and perhaps Stanton to be a beneficiary of more support and less opposition attention.
