If you could change one rule in AFL Dream Team, what would it be? With the new sub-rule in the AFL, I would have loved a DT equivalent for the 2011 season… Maybe allowing us to exchange an emergency with a player on field, with a limit of one change a week (considering we won’t find out the sub until 90mins prior to the match).

Who is your biggest Dream Team smoky for 2011? I am currently thinking either Brodie Martin or Gavin Urquhart – both set for big years if there pre-seasons are anything to go by…

Who will win the 2011 AFL Premiership? The Sainters (finally…)

Where will the Gold Coast Suns finish? Last… Give them a few years though and they will dominate!

What would you prefer? The team you follow wins a flag OR You win the entire Dream Team competition? The Flag. If I don’t win Dream Team within 45 years time, come and ask me again…

What is the highest overall ranking you’ve achieved in your Dream Team career? I have a terrible memory for this… I’ve gotten in the top 500 twice though. Got 16th overall one week last year and finished top 16 in the eliminator in 2009.

Do you lock in a Dream Team captain for the entire year or alternate from week to week depending on match ups? I always change and ALWAYS get it wrong. This is why I don’t write the Captains article…

If you could change one rule in AFL Dream Team, what would it be? Eight midfielders, six forwards and defenders – it would create more diversity in the midfield, which is where the most diverse selections can happen.

Who is your biggest Dream Team smoky for 2011? Established player: Jack Redden. Fresh face: Cam Richardson.

Who will win the 2011 AFL Premiership? Bulldogs, of course.

Where will the Gold Coast Suns finish? 12th

What would you prefer? The team you follow wins a flag OR You win the entire Dream Team competition? I’d take the flag.

What is the highest overall ranking you’ve achieved in your Dream Team career? I honestly don’t know, but it’s not even Top 1000. I was in the league that won Premium Dream Team in 2009, which carried a $10K first prize. Was 214th in SC last year.

Do you lock in a Dream Team captain for the entire year or alternate from week to week depending on match ups? Lock and load, but will always be open to someone else.

Are you a ‘tragic’ in other areas of your life? All fantasy sport. Currently have four fantasy NHL teams and one each for NBA, A-League and Big Bash.

Blondes or brunettes? Brunettes – important to pick the colour of girlfriend’s hair. But why do redheads always get left out?
