I have a sneaky eye on him. I dont think the Sipsta would be such a bad punt depending on your forward structure though – the potential is there. His price puts him in that awkward zone, which will make him very unique. I can’t help that feel he may be a better SC option than DT this year while he finds his way.

I personally wouldn’t mind seeing Gwilt in the role, as I enjoy the way he backs himself to break the lines in that “either get through the pack or get dragged down” mentality. However, you’d prefer to be on the end of a Siposs kick inside 50, and that’s the reason he’s been earmarked for the role.

Savage is the other one I’ve got on watch, so fingers crossed he’s on your list to cover in upcoming articles Toby.

@ 2011leaguechamps – there certainly are a few more options for team structures this year, given there are no expansion teams plus the added trades.

Thanks Toby, I’ll admit I’m going to miss sneakily piping the Footy Tragic show through my headphones on Friday mornings at work. Podcast out of the question?

I’m still really unclear how I’m going to handle the trades. I’ll either swap out guns to whomever is playing against GCS, Port, Melbourne, etc or sacrafice early games and generate as much salary as possible. If I go with the latter then Sippa is definitely the kind of player I’ll be looking at.

Thank you, i have my eye on armstrong from sydney as well. As that defence gets older younger guys will need to slot in there. And for thay matter mitchell(father son) gee i hope he gets ago this year.
